CAN SYSTEM

CAN (Controller Area Network) is a Communication Protocol that is implemented in all electronic cards designed by VAS-Virtual Aviation Systems.

With this Protocol all electronic cards VAS are serially connected with each other, thereby allowing a smaller cluster of wires because you'll be able to connect several devices on the same net and same shared power supply.

In addition, each electronic board and VAS component is independent but, as you purchase more components you can interconnect them with the existing ones. Though you can connect a single device to your PC using the limited device integrated CAN-USB gateway,  we recommend the purchase of the CAN-Ethernet gateway to ensure reliable full speed data communication.

All companys, in this branch, with interest, could implement this protocol in it's boards, once this is an open and universal platform. We invite all companys to feel free to ask more about this protocol!
